Toobou 1:12 Reference Run

Toobou achieved the first sub–1h13m SMS Any% speedrun on 2024/09/06 with a 1:12:58.39. The run used a consistent set of strats with very few mistakes, so can serve as a good reference for advanced Any%. This is a list of the strats used. Run video: here.

The strats are coloured based on how β€œstandard” they are. 🟦 Baseline strats are universal in the sense that almost all top (15) players either do them or know them; they come to mind as the normal thing to do. ⬜ Alt strats have several variants of which one or two are learnt. And then 🟧/🟩 are either progressive faster strats or simplifications made for consistency.
